Dave Thomson Library

With great pride, Burbank High School announces the official naming of the Dave Thomson Library to honor a man who dedicated 35 years to BHS as a teacher, mentor, leader, and historian. The Dave Thomson Library Committee plans to install and paint Dave Thomson’s name on the outside and inside of the library respectively, to create a plaque for the entrance to the library, and host a dedication event. Mr. Thomson is currently enjoying his retirement in Oregon along with his wife Lisa. To complete these goals, the Committee asks for financial support from those who knew the powerful impact Dave Thomson had on thousands of lives during his tenure at Burbank High School. The estimated cost is $25,000. Donations go directly into a Burbank High School account created specifically for the Dave Thomson Library. We also need your help to share this news with the thousands of former Bulldog students and colleagues who had the pleasure of having Mr. Thomson in their lives. Contributions will create a tangible legacy for a man who inspired so many students, teachers, and community members.
